Today, an exhibition dedicated to embroidered fabrics, one of the important areas of applied arts and textile heritage of Uzbekistan, began its work at our institute.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the Director of the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan Ismoilova Zhannat Khamidovna, the Chief Scientific Secretary of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan Abidjanova Feruza Abdullayevna, the Rector of the Institute Salikhov Omonulla Rakhmatullayevich, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations Kurbanova Dilafruz Abdurashidovna, professors, teachers and students.

The speakers at the event spoke about the art of embroidered fabrics, its historical roots, its place in our national culture, and its importance in modern design and clothing today.

The participants of the exhibition received detailed information about the importance of abrband fabrics not only as an ethnographic heritage, but also as an important visual tool for expressing conceptual ideas in modern clothing design.

This exhibition is significant in that it serves to preserve the national textile heritage, combine it with modern design, and further develop the creative potential of young artists.
