The meeting was attended by the rector of our institute, Omonulla Salikhov, responsible employees, and the head of the “Keng Makon” furniture factory, Abdurakhim Abdurakhmanov, who discussed the prospects for mutual cooperation, in particular, new stages of integrating education with production.

During the conversation, the parties specifically touched upon the issue of establishing a branch of the department for students of the institute’s “Design” department directly on the factory premises. It was noted that this initiative will create ample opportunities for students to directly connect theoretical knowledge with practice, to become familiar with modern technologies and production processes.

The meeting also exchanged views on the formation of a human resource pool of local designers in the furniture industry, the implementation of students’ creative projects in production, and the implementation of joint creative and innovative projects in the future.

Such partnerships serve as an important step in strengthening the connection between our institute and the private sector, improving the practical skills of young professionals, and ensuring the competitiveness of national design products.
