Today, the award ceremony for the winners of the Republican “Women Scientists” Competition, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was held.

According to the competition results, the innovative applied project submitted by our Institute, entitled “Creating 3D Models and Animated Visualizations of Timurid Artifacts Preserved in Foreign Museums,” received high evaluation from the competition committee and was included among the winning projects recommended for funding under the state scientific activity programs.

During the ceremony, a state grant certificate worth 667,000,000 UZS allocated for the project was solemnly presented to the project leader, Dilafruz Qurbonova, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of our Institute.

The project aims to conduct scientific research on the historical and cultural heritage of the Timurid period preserved in foreign museums through modern 3D modeling, digital reconstruction, and animation visualization technologies, as well as to digitize these artifacts and widely introduce them into educational and scientific-educational activities.

This achievement is another important recognition of the Institute’s consistent efforts to develop scientific research and innovation, study cultural heritage using modern digital technologies, and implement scientific developments in practice.
