A spiritual and educational event entitled “The Image of Islam Karimov in Works of Fine Arts” was organized.

The event was attended by famous artists and sculptors, scientists and artists, professors and teachers of our institute, as well as students and young people. The spouse of the First President Tatyana Karimova, the head of the Complex, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Temur Shirinov, Academician of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Art History, Professor Akbar Hakimov, Art Worker of Uzbekistan, famous sculptor Ilhom Jabborov, People's Artists of Uzbekistan Sobir Rakhmetov and Jasvant Annazarov spoke and shared their memories of Islam Karimov's work in the field of fine arts in our country with the participants of the event.

The event participants also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the exposition, which was organized at the entrance to the Islam Karimov Library and consisted of historical photographs, consistent with the main theme.
