The opening of the seminar was attended by the Khokim of Nurata district, Azamat Fayziyev, as well as the leadership and responsible officials of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod, along with the heads and staff of all educational institutions under the Academy.

Within the framework of the seminar, a republican scientific-practical conference titled "Fine and Applied Arts in Art Education: Innovative Approaches in the Harmony of Theory and Practice" was organized in cooperation with the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod and the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

The conference was moderated by Dilafruz Kurbanova, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of the institute. Participants included Feruza Abidjanova, Chief Scientific Secretary of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan; Omonulla Salikhov, Rector of the institute; heads and staff of educational institutions under the Academy of Arts, as well as professors and teachers of Navoi State University. Reports were heard and extensive discussions were held on the subject.

During the conference, pressing issues of developing fine and applied arts, the introduction of innovative pedagogical technologies in art education, the scientific study of national art heritage, and its integration with practice were widely discussed. Special attention was paid to the preservation and promotion of the traditions of the Nurata embroidery school.

The event emphasized the need to further strengthen cooperation between educational institutions under the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, including the institute and specialized art boarding schools. Practical proposals were put forward, such as organizing joint open-air painting sessions (plenairs), conducting master classes with institute professors, establishing short-term courses and "open house days" for students, and improving educational and methodological support.

Issues regarding the organization of joint exhibitions, competitions, and creative projects, conducting online master classes and webinars, supporting talented youth, and developing the "ustoz-shogird" (master-apprentice) system in the regions were also discussed.

At the conclusion of the conference, active participants were awarded certificates and letters of appreciation.

These events will serve to improve the art education system, ensure the harmony of theory and practice, and strengthen cooperation between educational institutions.
