The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the leadership of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and our institute, staff, faculty, students, as well as young learners from educational institutions under the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and other guests. The event was opened with an introductory speech by the Rector of our institute, Omonulla Salikhov, who acknowledged the artist's creative career, his contribution to the development of fine arts, and his services in mentoring young artists.
Furthermore, Akmal Nuridinov, Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and People's Artist of Uzbekistan, spoke at the opening ceremony, noting that the harmony of national traditions and modern artistic perspectives is vividly reflected in Umar Rajabov's work, and highly praised the artistic quality of the pieces displayed in the exhibition. Along with this, professors and teachers of our institute also took the floor to wish Umar Rajabov great success in his creative endeavors.
The exhibition featured paintings created by the artist over various years, which were viewed with great interest by art enthusiasts, faculty, students, and the general public.
