Today, in the hall of the activists of the Faculty of Design of our institute, a scientific seminar on the topic "Formation and implementation of state programs for scientific activity" was held by Dilafruz Kurbanova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations, for the staff and professors of the Faculty of Design.

During the seminar, the main documents regulating scientific and innovative activities, including the Law "On Science and Scientific Activity", Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 133, and the content and practical significance of the mechanism of state orders for scientific and research works were explained.

Also, detailed information was provided on the stages of formation, discussion, acceptance and financing of fundamental, applied and innovative projects, projects within the framework of a state order through a single electronic platform.

This scientific seminar was of great practical importance for professors and teachers in preparing scientific projects and participating in state grants.
