Today, a spiritual and enlightenment event dedicated to National Costume Day was organized at our institute in cooperation with the Khokimiyat (Municipality) of the Mirabad District under the motto "National Values — The Mirror of Spirituality." The event, aimed at glorifying our national values, strengthening the sense of national identity among youth, and promoting the rich historical and cultural heritage of our national costumes, was held in a high and celebratory spirit.
The event was attended by the leadership of our institute, officials from the Mirabad District Khokimiyat, representatives of district organizations, enterprises, and educational institutions, students, school youth, and members of the general public. Participants shared their insights on the role of national costumes in the spiritual life of our people, their importance in youth education, and the ongoing efforts to preserve national traditions.
Within the framework of the event, an exhibition of our students' creative works was showcased in the institute's courtyard, alongside a national costume exhibition in the Exhibition Hall, prepared by students majoring in "Fashion Design" at the Faculty of Design. The creative pieces, harmoniously blending the vibrant diversity typical of Uzbek national garments, exquisite embellishments, traditional patterns, and modern design solutions, aroused great interest among the visitors.
During the event, it was emphasized that national attire is a crucial value reflecting the history, culture, and aesthetic views of our people, and views were expressed that serve to further strengthen the feelings of respect and pride for our national traditions in the hearts of the younger generation.
