The event was attended by the leadership of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and our institute, heads of organizations within the Academy of Arts system, the institute's professors and teachers, staff members, representatives of partner organizations, distinguished guests, parents, and graduating students.
The festive event was opened by the rector of our institute, Omonulla Salikhov. In his opening remarks, he spoke about the important results achieved by the institute's community during the academic year in the areas of education, scientific and creative activities, international cooperation, strengthening the material and technical base, comprehensive support for young people, and ensuring their employment. The event also featured a speech by Akmal Nuridinov, Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and People's Artist of Uzbekistan, who sincerely congratulated the institute's community, professors and teachers, graduates, and their parents on this memorable day. In his speech, he particularly emphasized that as a result of the reforms being carried out in our country to develop the fields of art and culture, broad opportunities are being created for young artists, and he wished the graduates great success in their future creative and professional activities.
During the event, professors and teachers, staff members, and representatives of organizations that made a worthy contribution to the development of the institute during the 2025/2026 academic year, as well as undergraduate and graduate students who achieved outstanding results in academic, scientific and creative, spiritual and educational, and public activities, actively participated in national and international competitions and festivals, and distinguished themselves through their initiative and active involvement in institute life, were honored with letters of appreciation, special statuettes, and commemorative gifts from the institute's leadership.
One of the most emotional moments of the event was the ceremonial presentation of state-standard higher education diplomas to more than 500 graduates who successfully completed their studies at the institute. The graduates and their parents welcomed these joyful moments with great satisfaction.
The festive event continued with a gala concert featuring the renowned singer Dilso‘z and a number of talented artists. The musical and artistic performances brought an uplifting mood to the participants and added a special atmosphere to the celebrations.
