Interviews were organized in the following scientific specialties:

17.00.05 — Theory and History of Design;

17.00.04 — Fine and Applied Decorative Arts;

17.00.08 — Theory and History of Art;

17.00.06 — Museology. Conservation, repair and preservation of historical and cultural objects.

The process was held in an open and transparent environment. Each candidate had the opportunity to fully demonstrate their scientific potential. The interviews were important not only for assessing the level of preparation of applicants, but also for clearly and effectively directing their future scientific research.
Applicants for Independent Research from the People's Republic of China also participated in the interview process via the ZOOM platform.
This process will serve to expand opportunities for foreign applicants to conduct research at the institute, increase the international prestige of the institute, and further strengthen scientific and educational cooperation.
