At the beginning of the meeting, the rector of the institute, Omonulla Salikhov, reported to the members of the Council on the work carried out at the institute in the first quarter of 2026, and, according to tradition, a ceremony was held to present certificates to professors and teachers who had recently received academic titles.

After that, the agenda of the March meeting of the Institute Council included:

1. Conducting a competition for vacant positions due to the expiration of the 5-year term of tenure of professors and teachers working in the departments;
2. Recommending candidates for the academic title of associate professor of the Institute;
3. Results of the research work conducted by the Internal Attestation Commission at the level of faculties;
4. Status of implementation of Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Resolutions of the Board of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, Orders of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and Resolutions of the Council of the Institute;
5. Work carried out by specialized departments with affiliated specialized schools in the current academic year based on their work plans;
6. Recommending educational literature prepared by the professors and teachers of the Institute for publication;
7. Recommending candidates for the Institute's Shamsiroi Hasanova scholarship of talented students;
8. Monitoring the completion of master's theses by master's degree students;
9. The activities of the leaders of the Youth Academy;
10. The activities of the International Cooperation Department;
11. Spiritual and educational work carried out in the student dormitory;
12. Preparations for the Festival of Fine and Applied Arts, traditionally organized at the initiative of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, and various other important issues were considered.
