This international conference is organized by the Faculty of Art and Archaeology of Zhejiang University and the UNESCO Chair on Silk Road Heritage Preservation and Sustainable Development at the university. It is attended by scholars, art historians, researchers, and cultural figures from various countries. During the conference, discussions are being held on the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of the Great Silk Road, its scientific research, its integration with modern design and art, and its promotion on an international scale.

Within the framework of the conference, a scientific presentation titled "The Silk Heritage of Uzbekistan: From Museum Collections to Global Recognition in Design" was received with great interest. Representing the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod, Abdullayeva Shaxlo Kurbanburiyevna, Associate Professor of the Department of History and Theory of Art, participated in this presentation, introducing Uzbekistan's rich cultural heritage and silk art traditions to the international scientific community.

Furthermore, detailed information was provided regarding Uzbekistan's rich silk production traditions, national fabrics, the historical roots of ancient patterns and ornamental arts, and their contemporary application in modern design directions.

This conference serves as an important scientific and cultural platform for preserving the heritage of the Great Silk Road, passing it on to future generations, and introducing national cultural values to the international community.
