Currently, 2nd and 3rd-year students of the "Easel Painting" department and 3rd-year students of the "Monumental Painting" department from our institute's Faculty of Fine Arts are conducting their plein air practice in the city of Bukhara.

This plein air practice is focused on studying and depicting the unique architectural monuments and cityscapes of Bukhara—a city rich in historical and cultural heritage—through the medium of fine arts.

During the practice, while working in the open air, students directly observe historical landmarks, ancient streets, and examples of national architecture, capturing their artistic essence based on the principles of painting and composition. Furthermore, they have the opportunity to practically reinforce their skills regarding light and shadow relationships, color harmony, and spatial representation techniques.

Such plein air practices play a vital role in developing students' creative thinking, increasing their interest in our national cultural heritage, and shaping the practical skills essential for their future professional careers.
