In order to widely promote national values and traditions, today, in connection with the national holiday of Navruz, a National Values Festival was organized in the student dormitory of our institute under the slogan "Glorifying Navruz - Glorifying Man", which was attended by the Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Nuridinov Akmal Vakhobjonovich, the General Scientific Secretary of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan Abidjanova Feruza Abdullayevna, the management and staff of the institute, foreign guests and young students.
During the event, various cultural performances, national games and art programs were organized, and special attention was paid to increasing the social activity of students, organizing their free time meaningfully, and educating them in the spirit of respect for national heritage. In particular, the pavilions "National Customs" and "National Dishes" were organized, reflecting the uniqueness of the regions of our country, as well as traditional stage performances such as "Kelin Salam", "Yor-yor".
At the same time, during the festival, "Sumalak Sayli", which is considered an important tradition of Navruz, was also organized. Students and young people actively participated in the Sumalak Sayli, performing songs and lapars, which are elements of ancient traditions around the Sumalak cauldron. The leadership of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and our institute, as well as guests who visited the event, directly participated in the Sumalak boiling process, and these events were recognized as an important factor demonstrating the continuity of national culture.
Also, as part of the event, osh was prepared and served to guests and all students. In particular, the preparation of an exhibition of national dishes and costumes of 14 regions, in order to reflect the cultural diversity of all regions of our country, widely highlighted the diversity of regional traditions and gastronomic heritage and strengthened the feelings of national unity and mutual respect among students.
This event served to enrich the spiritual and educational outlook of students, strengthen their sense of national identity, and further develop the team atmosphere.
