“Fine and Applied Decorative Arts,” was held at the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod. Maftunakhon Kalbayeva conducted her research on the topic “Problems in the Development of Contemporary Calligraphy Art in Uzbekistan.” Her dissertation provides a comprehensive analysis of the stages of formation of calligraphy art in Uzbekistan, trends in contemporary calligraphy, existing challenges in the field and their scientific and theoretical solutions, as well as an examination of unique examples of calligraphic art. We congratulate researcher Maftunakhon Kalbayeva on her successful academic defense and wish her great success in her future research endeavors.
