As part of the VIII International All-Russian “Trans-Urals” Forum held in Sibay, Republic of Bashkortostan, Russian Federation, Zukhra Shavkatovna Dosmetova, Professor of the Faculty of Art History and Applied Arts at the Kamoliddin Behzod National Institute of Fine Arts and Design, delivered a presentation entitled “Traditional Decorative and Applied Arts of Uzbekistan.” The presentation provided information about the centuries-old artistic heritage of the Uzbek people, traditional decorative and applied art forms, and national handicraft traditions. The professor’s participation in the international forum is of great importance for developing scientific and creative ties between Uzbekistan and Russia, exchanging experience, and promoting Uzbekistan’s national applied arts at the international level.
