The grand opening ceremony of the first "Artists' Festival", organized at the initiative of the Head of State Shavkat Mirziyoyev, took place at the "Garden of Intellectuals" ("Ziyolilar bog‘i") in the city of Bobur, Andijan region.

This prestigious event is attended by the leadership of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod, members of the Creative Association of Artists of Uzbekistan, faculty members, young creators, and field specialists. The participants are exchanging views on the development of fine and applied arts, the preservation of national cultural heritage, and the expansion of international cooperation.

Notably, 21 talented artists pursuing their creative careers at our institute are also participating in this festival. This provides an important opportunity for young creators to showcase their talent, exchange creative experiences, and broadly promote national art traditions.

During the event, matters aimed at promoting the culture of Turkic peoples, national art traditions, supporting young creators, and strengthening international cultural ties are being extensively discussed.

As part of the festival, creative meetings, exhibitions, masterclasses, and cultural events are being organized, creating a platform for participants to share their mutual experiences.
